Avon and Somerset Local Resilience Forum

The Avon and Somerset Local Resilience Forum covers Avon and Somerset. The gov.uk list places it in the South West and gives no further detail of the area; forum areas follow police areas.

The forum's secretariat sits in the operations department at the police and fire headquarters in Portishead. The gov.uk entry does not name the hosting organisation beyond that.

The forum publishes a community risk register, which the gov.uk list links on the Avon and Somerset Police website. A community risk register is the forum's published list of the risks it has identified for its area, the risks its emergency plans are written against.

The gov.uk entry gives no separate forum website, so the risk register page on the police website is the address this site lists. It is where residents find the forum's local advice on preparing for emergencies. Local resilience forums are explained on the who does what page.
