Cumbria Local Resilience Forum

The Cumbria Local Resilience Forum covers Cumbria. It is one of five forums the Cabinet Office lists for the North West of England, and the gov.uk list says that forum areas are based on police areas.

Its secretariat sits with the Joint Emergency Management and Resilience Team at Penrith Community Fire Station, in Penrith. The gov.uk entry does not name a single host organisation, so none is given here. The forum's public website is Cumbria Prepared, at cumbriaprepared.org.uk.

The forum publishes a community risk register on that website, under the heading of hazards and threats in Cumbria. A community risk register is the forum's published list of the risks it has identified for its area, so that residents and local organisations can see what is most likely to affect them and prepare for it.

The Cumbria Prepared website is where residents of Cumbria find local advice on preparing for emergencies. Local resilience forums are explained on the who does what page.
