Durham and Darlington Local Resilience Forum

The Durham and Darlington Local Resilience Forum covers County Durham and Darlington. It is one of three forums the Cabinet Office lists for the North East of England, and the gov.uk list says that forum areas are based on police areas. The fire service's own pages call it the County Durham and Darlington Local Resilience Forum.

Its secretariat sits with County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service, at the service headquarters in Durham. The forum's web pages are on the fire service's site, ddfire.gov.uk.

The forum publishes a community risk register as a PDF document on that site, covering 2024 to 2026. A community risk register is the forum's published list of the risks it has identified for its area, so that residents and local organisations can see what is most likely to affect them and prepare for it.

The forum's pages on the fire service website are where residents of County Durham and Darlington find local advice on preparing for emergencies. Local resilience forums are explained on the who does what page.
