Gwent Local Resilience Forum

The Gwent Local Resilience Forum covers Gwent. The gov.uk list places it under Wales and gives no further detail of the area; forum areas follow police areas.

The forum's co-ordinator sits with Monmouthshire County Council at County Hall, Rhadyr, Usk.

The forum publishes a community risk register on its website, gwentprepared.org.uk, under the heading risks we face. A community risk register is the forum's published list of the risks it has identified for its area, the risks its emergency plans are written against.

The same website is where residents find local advice on preparing for emergencies in Gwent. The gov.uk list also points to the Wales Resilience website at gov.wales for how the Welsh Government, the emergency services, local authorities and health authorities work together. Local resilience forums are explained on the who does what page.
