Lancashire Local Resilience Forum

The Lancashire Local Resilience Forum covers Lancashire. It is one of five forums the Cabinet Office lists for the North West of England, and the gov.uk list says that forum areas are based on police areas.

Its secretariat sits with Lancashire Constabulary, in the Strategic Coordination Centre at the force headquarters in Hutton, near Preston. The forum's public website is Lancashire Prepared, at lancashireprepared.org.uk.

The forum publishes a community risk register on that website, on a page about the county's risks. A community risk register is the forum's published list of the risks it has identified for its area, so that residents and local organisations can see what is most likely to affect them and prepare for it.

The Lancashire Prepared website is where residents of Lancashire find local advice on preparing for emergencies. Local resilience forums are explained on the who does what page.
