Merseyside Local Resilience Forum

North West. Merseyside.

  • England

The Merseyside Local Resilience Forum covers Merseyside. It is one of five forums the Cabinet Office lists for the North West of England, and the gov.uk list says that forum areas are based on police areas.

Its secretariat sits with Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service, at the service headquarters in Bootle. The forum's public website is Merseyside Prepared, at merseysideprepared.org.uk.

The forum publishes a community risk register on that website, on a page about the area's risks. A community risk register is the forum's published list of the risks it has identified for its area, so that residents and local organisations can see what is most likely to affect them and prepare for it.

The Merseyside Prepared website is where residents of Merseyside find local advice on preparing for emergencies. Local resilience forums are explained on the who does what page.
